Ellsworth Rock Garden

Located on the north shore of Lake Kabetogama, you will find beautiful and creative rock statuaries. Restoration of the gardens begins in 2005.
Accessible by boat only.
Echo Bay Trail

Wander through aspen forests, rocky pine covered ridges and past beaver ponds. A trail guide provides a new view on plant life on this 2.3 mile access from Northern Lights road in the Kabetogama Community.

Historic Kettle Falls and Dam

Visit the Kettle Falls Historic District where you can look south into Canada from the International Border, visit the dam, the 1912 dam-tenders cabin, the site of blind pig and the 1912 Kettle Falls Hotel.
Open May through September.

Soudan Mine Underground State Park

Drop a half a mile into the ground, ride an electric train, and climb a 32 step spiral staircase at Minnesota's very first underground mine.

Koochiching County & Bronko Nagurski Historical Museum

State of the art facility will preserve and educate all visitors about the history of Koochiching County with well researched and exciting exhibits. Over 10,000 items are exhibitied in the museum and cover topics including Native American artifacts, geology, homesteading ara, early settlement, farm equipment, antique cars, toys and dolls, and much, much more!

The Bronko Nagurski Museum is a lasting tribute to an outstanding man, athlete, and citizen. It is the first modern museum in America dedicated to an individual football player.

Minnesota's mining industry is captured in this park in Chisholm. Visitors can climb on equipment, ride the old time trolley, and visit ethnic displays and storytellers. Also home to Pellet Pete's Mini Golf Course.
